Chicago Style Hot Dog Recipe

Grilling hot dogs is about as easy as it gets. And for these Chicago Hot Dogs, I throw them on the grill and make Char Dogs.

You just need a hot grill to throw your all beef hot dogs on for 5 minutes. When they have great grill marks on the hot dogs you can pull them off and build your Chicago Style Dog.

For a real Chicago Style Hot Dog, you need to start with a poppy seed bun, then you place your all beef hot dog along with mustard. On top of that you add some green relish, diced onions, tomatoes, pickle spear and sport peppers. Then to top your Chicago Hot Dog you need celery salt on top.

Now you have a traditional Chicago Hot Dog – or Chicago Char Dog – since you grilled hot dog.
